AS/NZS 4024 Updates

AS/NZS 4024.2201-2204

These four standards, covering Permanent means of access to machinery are now closed for public comment. Comments will be collated and reviewed at the next SF-041 Committee meeting. (June 2023). 

AS/NZS 4024.1:2019 Revision

At the recent SF41 Committee meeting there was general agreement that the current AS/NZS 4024.1:2019 needs a revision to bring it closer to the current ISO/EN/IEC standards. Any revision project is likely to take at least two years and will need to take into account revisions of multiple ISO standards currently going through the various ISO Working Groups

Adoption of ISO 19085 – 15 parts – A Call for Help

The SF-041 committee has launched a project to adopt the European Standard EN 619:2022 Continuous handling equipment and systems.

Safety of machinery — Safeguarding supportive system

This Technical Report provides guidance for the design and integration of a safeguarding supportive system (SSS) which is intended to include a mode selection as part of an SRP/CS. The project to adopt is underway and will be available for public comment very soon.
